Adult & Children Sunday Schools Sunday School classes are held each Sunday morning at 10:00 AM and are arranged by age group. There are primary, junior, teen and adult level classes. Bus Ministry Lighthouse operates a bus route to reach out to children in our local community. The children are provided transportation to services each Sunday and also participate in special events like the Country Fair, Big Bus Day, our annual Christmas play and more.
Bible Institute provides an opportunity for intense scriptural training for those called to preach as well as others seeking a deep understanding of the word of God.
The series provides professional workshops in areas including the college selection and financial aid processes, resume writing, grammar, etc, to better prepare our church members of all ages to go forward in their academic and career goals.
The King's Daughters Class provides an opportunity for young women of the Church to grow in the knowledge of God's word, to seek His will for their futures and encourages them to become actively involved in church ministries.
Ladies Alive is a fellowship ministry of the women of the Church that brings them together to study women of the Bible and to discuss the applications of those women's experiences for the lives of the women of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Lighthouse Keepers is a committee of women committed to maintaining the cleanliness of the Church as well as arranging special hospitality for visiting speakers and special events. The Lighthouse Keepers also work to improve the appearance and decor of the Church.
The Nursery Ministry provides support for families in the Church by offering a safe, fun environment for children and babies thus allowing parents to enjoy the services without distraction. The nursery is available during all services.
The Nursing Home Ministry is an outreach of Lighthouse Baptist Church through which members go to area nursing homes each Saturday and conduct services and fellowship with the residents.
The Singles Ministry allows unmarried people of the Church to come together for God-centered fun and fellowship and to discuss the Biblical perspective on marriage, ministry, being single, etc.
Church members go out to various areas of the communities and present the word of God, plan of salvation, etc. The goal of street preaching is to meet our community members where they are with the goal of seeing people saved and serving God. Soul-winning One evening each week, church members go out to various areas of our community to invite people to the Church as well as give out the Gospel.
Teens of the Church get together regularly as a part of an organized, God-centered program where they can discuss issues, learn how to live a life for Christ in school and in their day-to-day lives, etc. One recent teen faction was a "Fear Factor" competition with teens from other churches. The teens also financially and prayerfully support a missionary. |
